Aqua Pennsylvania, Inc. (Aqua) will receive the 2011 Diamond Award for the Valley Forge Park Water Main and Stream Restoration Project. Aqua's engineer and Manager of Capital Planning will accept the award for Aqua. | |
| The Diamond Award honors outstanding achievements in engineering—a distinction Aqua achieved last April for their innovative, environmentally-friendly renovation of an exposed water main in the Valley Forge National Historical Park that had corroded during a 55-year period. | ||
| The Valley Forge Park Water Main and Stream Restoration Project has also received the award of Excellence in the conservation and environmental category by the Association of Conservation Engineers as part of their 17th annual Carl Anderson Conservation Project Engineering Awards program. | ||
